Agonda beach in south Goa is a peaceful, clean and seren beach. You will realize that the beach is lined up with many makeshift huts for tourists, and one of these huts are run by Om Sai Beach Huts.
Some worth noting points about these huts are – Well lookedafter rooms, cleaned often, attentive staff, advice and support at all times, calm seas, beautiful uncrowded beach, soft sand, hot showers, and to add do not be put off if no beach front huts available. The palm tree inner garden is a haven of peace and quite and literally a one minute walk to the beach and even less to the restaurant Sea Breeze.
“Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View” and the room made of wood was fantastic with huge balcony and an unobstructed view to lovely Sunsets and Sea. With such a set up, it feels, it is a perfect way to relax. Bring your food/drinks at your room, enjoy them having at your huge terrace with full privacy.
The food is delicious and has great variety. Whether you’re in the mood for Indian or European or just a classic Nutella pancake, it’s all delicious. This side of the beach is not too busy, so it’s a perfect place to relax in silence on the beach.
Anything can be arranged with the owner, from taxi to tours, and always check prices with him first.
If you’re looking for a long, relaxing stay with nothing to do but laze around on the beach all day and enjoy the sounds of the sea, this is a great place to stay. If you’re looking for free-flowing alcohol and loud parties and crowd, nope, they don’t encourage it. The place is streaming with tourists from many countries. They have a pick-up and drop facility from Madgaon or the airport if you don’t have arrangements of your own or don’t want to use public transport, so ask about it because getting to Agonda can be a bit of a hassle. Om Sai is very safe though and the Agonda beach is worth it.
